Negro by Langstone Hughes Poetry Responce

The mood of this poem is proud, he is proud to be a color person. I know he is proud because he says he is a negro black as the night. He write the poem with this mood so people could realized that "negro" have a great important part to this country. He says they constructed important buildings.
